FinFlow / Local / development engineering note

Local state. Shared financial truth.

A development finance product connecting accounts, recurring cash flow, goals, budgets, and assistant workflows.

The product problem.

FinFlow uses an Expo client for iOS and web, with WatermelonDB-backed local persistence and sync-aware services. Accounts, recurring entries, goals, credit, investments, and side income sit within one shared finance model.

The implementation boundary.

A local API gateway and development data plane provide the backend boundary. A dedicated LangGraph service can orchestrate assistant actions against that same finance contract. This keeps guidance and product actions connected to the data model rather than maintaining an unrelated chat experience.

Current status.

The current project contract permits local and development work; later-stage releases are parked. The reachable finflow hostname serves an API response, so it is not advertised as a usable app demo.
