LocalScan Privacy

LocalScan processes user-selected files locally on-device.

LocalScan does not upload scan content to cloud services in v1 and does not perform automatic network requests in normal operation.

LocalScan does not collect personal data for analytics by default. Crash reporting is not active unless explicitly configured and disclosed.

Files remain under the user's control. LocalScan accesses only files the user chooses and creates output only when the user requests it.

This website may receive standard technical request data through its hosting provider when this privacy page is visited. That website traffic is separate from LocalScan's on-device file processing.
